Can anyone tell me if there is some product that can be used for the body of a carburetor to remove the oxidation/pitting that can't be removed with carb cleaner alone?

Also, any recommendations on how to properly jet a carb?

This is probably best placed in the Engine Forum, not here. Anyhow, I believe the best way would be to have it tumbled in some sort of media that is small, but larger than the largest open passage. I believe that is how Edelbrock polished them to begin with.
