I'm going to be ordering my Energy Suspension Body Bushings soon and want to know opinions on color. Also I figure red would be easier to see but is there any real advantage of being able to see bushings? Any opinions are appreciated. Also my car is getting painted a purple/black cherry met. color. Thanks

I think red looks out of place for body bushings, if you read on their site the black IMO is a better bushing because they have to change the chemical make up to make them red

Joe,
It's a matter of preference, but I went with black. However, I think I read that the black bushings are made with polygraphite.
I don't know if there's any truth to that, but that's what I recall.

Thanks Fox, Jack, that answered my question. I didn't think of any major difference but I figured there had to be minor chemical difference that might make one marginally or even supposedly better than the other. I think I'll go with black. I don't want anything real flashy. Just thought I'd check before I dropped the money on them.

Actually, only some of their black bushings are graphite impregnated. Which black ones? That is never specified for some reason.

Canfield is next weekend?! That snuck up on me fast

Yes sir it is. Im hoping there lots of oldsmobile goodies to be found haha

Alot of places say black lasts longer than red. Avoid poly bushings with graphite in them, all the graphite does is make the bushing weaker.
