remove steering shaft

ok so i was trying to pull off my steering shaft and got the bolts out but there isnt much play for this thing to come off.. i hit the one side with small sludge it moves but bounces back into position this shaft probably never been taking off in it's life time so what's the trick?

skill of 10 its 1 .. very very easy you need to unbolt both bolts and pride either side with a big flat head and it should pop out easy..no trick to getting it out
