Sorry if this dosnt belong here i couldnt decide which sub to post it under, but anyways i have this small dent (large OK) with no paint transfer and i was wondering what would be the best way i could get it out. some of the pinstripe is gone but not much, i dont really care about the paint and pinstripe because my goal is to make this car sortof a sleeper. so here is the dent i need to remove i have no clue how it got there and my grandpa said it was from the lady that owned it before. what would be the best way to get behind it and pop it out? could i remove the wheel wells how would i do that. also i have this small 1x1 inch area on the hood that has no paint on it and was wondering if i had to repaint the whole hood or if i could mask off a small section

Need a pic of the dent your talking about to be able to answer that fairly. It depends on size, if metal is creased, if its a bolt on part an so on.
The 1" spot you could try to color match an blend it but it won't look right so yes paint the whole hood.

haha i missed the whole point with this thread, i just uploaded the pic, thanks for letting me know 😛

yea i was thinking about trying that myself i just dont know how bad im going to make it look

I have very little body work experience myself and I would do the same of looking into paintless dent removal as an option. Does not hurt to ask around and if it fits into your budget it saves a lot of frustration on your part. Good luck with it.

As Clutch said I would not attempt it yourself. I have watched the demonstations and could not believe the skill level involved and patience in getting it right. I have neither so that would be one time I would let a professional handle it.

Pdr should not be attempted unless you know what you are doing and it takes patience I have been a body man my hole life and I can only dabble in pdr it's a skill all it's own with many special tools however there are many on line videos to train you. If you do it yourself good luck but I'm a body man and I would call a pdr man
