not sure how to remove the outside opera window moldings ! need help . want to stretch my vynl so i need to move remove them.thanks for any help i can get

The trim is permanently attached to the glass and serves as a sealing gasket. If you need to fix your vinyl, then the whole glass window needs to be pulled.

on my grade lemans the mouldings around the windows are about 1.25 inches wide painted to match . don,t look attached . was hoping they were clips. , thanks for the help !! ron

If you remove the interior panels there will be some 10 mm nuts holding the moldings in place. The window is not attached to the trim. I'm not sure how you are going to stretch the vinyl causes it is glued to the roof

Try this....

using a heat gun very carefully and a putty knife. you lift/peel up 3-4 inched and then pull/stretch to what you want.then spray adhesive under neath .press and hold till dry.reattach molding
