removing paint over spray?

I've used new razor blades, as 79malibu350 had suggested and also lacquer thinners. I've had good results with both.
A dull blade can infact scratch your glass.
Also, ultra fine bronze (or steel) wool will work as well. In fact that was recommended to me by a guy who is proficient in window tinting.

I'm sure the clay bar will do the trick as well. Normally I picture using a clay bar on painted surfaces, but I can't see why it wouldn't work on glass.

has no one heard of this to remove the overspray..it's great for removing alot of crap that gets stuck to the paint and windows of your car and it won't scratch or damage anything

Actually I've heard about it bt never knew it could work to remove overspray. Now I have so many options.
What to do, what to do. Lol. They sell clay bars at auto zone right? I've never owned good paint, I never lloked for clay bars. :blam:

when I wasn't so old a real old guy told me about it and it works for about any contaminant you want to remove from your car paint, windows or wheels with brake dust..

Well now I have something to do for Saturday. I might as well just buy the clay bars. Can't wait to see my result.

If you dont have alot of stuff to remove clay bars are great. When it looks like the painter didnt bother to mask the windshield and there are three coats of paint and two of clear, clay bars just piss you off. so i guess my opinion is a little biased lol. If you have overspray on paint, its the best thing to try first. on glass though, razor blades just peel paint away as quick as you can slide your hand from point a to point b.

Clay is awesome, but it's also kinda expensive.
I sure wouldn't waste it on glass though when any of those other options can do the same job...

I've actually been planning to clay-bar my Caprice, but the weather can't decide if it wants to be 65 or 35...
