Guys, need to do this next on frame off of 78 Monte. Do I use piano wire to cut glass out from all the butyl and then with glass out, the chrome surrounding trim may have small screws holing it in like the door trim?

You need to remove the rear seat and sail panels. Then, remove the 5 retaining nuts from the window and it pushes right out. Just go easy, the black goopy sealant never dries so it's a bit messy. The chrome is part of the glass assembly. Its actually pot metal and is what holds the glass in. So, careful with those nuts when you reinstall.

Yes, I have the interior stripped... Those outside chrome trim is what I'm asking as to how to remove... Will there be small screws in a Chanel there once the glass is out? Thanks..
