Replacing brake line

Turns out the line was patched before there is a compression fitting on one end. Can I get another compression fitting and meet it to that one?

For all the BS involved in flaring lines and patching I would just run a new line from the prop valve to the intended destination. I use anti-seize liberally in the hopes the lines will come back apart again if I need to.
