I need to change the horns on my GP because they don't work anymore. How do you get at them to change them? Do I have to remove the inner wheel well? I could not find any info in the Forum archives. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

The inner fender has access holes to remove the two horns, they are located in between the header panel and wheel well on the driver's side. Are you sure it's the horns that don't work cause it's unusual for both to stop working at the same time

Thanks for the quick reply Pontiacgp, well one of them stopped working and then the other one was barely audible so i managed to get my hands in there between that little triangle hole in the fender to take of the connection clips and clean them to make better contact. That worked for a little while but it's back to only one horn working again. I got a pair out of an El Camino at a swap meet.

So where is this access hole? Is it under the hood on the top of the wheel well? Or is it under the fender on the under side of the wheel well. I've never had to change my horns in the 22 years that I have owned the car.

if you look in the location I mentioned you'll see the two horns. There is two green wires attached one and one wire feeds the other..
