replacing inner door handles

Can anyone give me guidance on how to replace the drivers side inner door handle on an 81 elky with power windows and locks?

Pop the caps off each end, remove bolts/screws.

Take out screws holding arm rest pad and pull strap.
Remove upper door panel, carefully remove harness for power windows.
Remove lower door panel, carefully remove harness for power locks and remove control cable for mirror. Youll need a small alan wrench or hex head driver for this.
Remove any weather plastic or paper behind door panels.
If its original handle, rivets were used to hold it in. Pop them out.
Remove old handle. Take release cable and attach to new handle.
Reverse order for reinstall.

The arm rest slide back to remove it after the two screws are removed
