None of these G-bodys had a factory 350, but a lot could have happened since 87. You gained a cowl induction hood in that time! Very nice!
If I'm not mistaken, some of the early A/G-body El Caminos had the 350 option available. Other models would have been police or fire fighters cars.
 
The transmission needed a little attention.
And a complete front end.

But the body,interior,engine are
Very clean.

If you're going to throw coilovers in it i think I remember reading on here that the stock control arm isn't up to the task.

In '78 & '79 all El Camino models & Malibu wagons could have the 350, all with TH350 & '78 El Camino could get the 4 speed.

I have had it 10 years. It was burgundy. I converted to a four speed Muncie and in process of putting a ford 9" rear end in with rear disc and a 370 gear which will map up to the trans nicely. Been a fun car that I have put a lot of time in.
