ok thanks guys, I will check that in the engine compartment
my trans has been changed so maybe that's why I have this problem... ?
But the reverse lights come on in neutral so the linkage work no ?

if you are in the car and grab the lower part of the steering column see if you can turn that. If you can see if the back up lights come on when you have the car in reverse and turning that part of the steering column. If you don't have a friend to help you out you can put a mirror on the wall to see if the lights are coming on.....

It occurs to me that about the same time, I put in a 200-4R in place of the TH350. The shifter would go down one more notch past '1'. I do clearly remember being able to make the adjustment without removing the switch from the column. If someone had a photo of an automatic column, removed from the car, that might help here.

Here is a picture that shows what I expected to see - the white thing down toward the firewall. And it looks different from your column's photo. In the picture below, the column is positioned the way it is installed in the car, so that means the switch is on top of the column. So, what you show in your photos is not what you seek to adjust. Hope this insight is enough to lead you to figure out how to do what I recommended...

Hi guys !
I have some news, so I pulled out the reverse lights switch.
It was connected by blue and green wire as expected.

Now I will have to put it back in the right position but I also accidentaly pulled out the metal clip (the switch bolts on this clip ) which clips on the direction axis. And I don't succed in clipping it back.. anyone knows how to do that ? I am thinking to glue it...

Have you removed the covers and the two 5/8 nuts to let the column drop to give you more access?
