Revisiting from last Fall... Tires and Rims, The Last Major Purchase For The Wagon

On a Malibu I'd do these in a heartbeat:

245s front/275s rear.
A friend of mine has them on his wagon but theyre not 17s. He went with original Chevy wheels. I think they were from a Chevelle. His car has the stock suspension and ride height though.

Since Im stuck not being able to drive for two weeks Im trying to plan out things that I want to get done on both cars as soon as IM back on my feet.
The tire/wheel issue for the wagons on the top of the list.
I want this look. Always likes the AR TTll and I feel the car needs something polished to make it look good.
Some guys on the forum say theyre using 7x17 on the front of their cars with a 3.5 BS. All the 17s on the AR site start at 4". Unless you guys went with custom offsets on the fronts ? Dont really want to go larger than a 17" wheel.
There arent any custom wheel shops in my area that I can go to. I dont want to use any spacers or adaptors. Ive asked around on a few FB groups.
What do you guys think will fit to give this desired look ?

18's are almost easier to find tires for now. 245's should fit no problem with tall upper balljoints.

Even 18s are slowly getting tougher, sadly. When I bought the Pilot Sport 4S I was surprised at how many options were disappearing.

I have American Racing Hopsters on my wagon.
17x7 up front with 245/45/17 tires.
17x8 at the back with 255/45/17's.

As i bought the car 9months ago.... 17x7(front 225/55) and 17x8(rear 275/55), i havent measured the back spacing on either wheel.

Rear tires are tall as you can see and rubbed a little going over bumps or dips, so the previous owner rolled in just the upper part of the wheel well lip on both sides, i did notice slight rubbing marks on the frame from the front tires, all riding on stock suspension.

Reviving a thread.
I still havent looked into tires and wheels for the wagon. Last night I took the 215 65 off the front of the 81 and stuck it on the wagon. This is on a 6" wheel. Didnt measure the BS. I had my wife turn the wheels side to side and it was kinda close to the inner locked to the left but there was some room. Not really a bad look. If I get time tonight or tomorrow I might put the rear on to see the total look. Much nicer than the rally wheels. Only downside is I'll need longer studs.
