Wound up dropping to the next smaller front tire (225/50 vs 245/50) due to the tires catching the fender on large bumps and hard cornering. Car also has aftermarket front brakes that increase track width slightly, which contributed to the issue. Afterwards I was able to adjust the front end down another 1/2". No more rubbing 👍.

I still need to get my wagon aligned after installing the same Ridetech setup, but the 245/45/17’s clear nicely. I test fitted a 275/40/17 from my rear and it clears pretty well too with very rubbing on full lock turns. Once it’s aligned will re-assess and hope to go to that size.

For the top front spring perch I just hammered the tangs/tabs as needed to clear, no cutting.

What is your ride height to the lip of the fender? Unless your backspacing is way out, you should easily be able to 245's and have PLENTY of room.

I should also of added that I changed the steering box on my wagon from the stock 605 unit to one out of a Monte LS with the F41 suspension package, so it should of been the quick ratio and then I went further and swapped in an "XH" box from an IROC with 16" wheels a year later. Slightly tighter radius for turning and it was noticeable the rubbing went from a little to none, this was before the Ridetech parts but the same 245/45/17's. So steering box choice would make a difference, even having a Turbo Regal, the XH box would help if the rubbing is on full turns. Also would be curious on the ride height to the lip.

Before changing tires it was 25" up front. 245/50 edge of the tread rubbed (see pic) on large bumps and hard cornering. It's 24.5" now with the 225/50s. Only guess is the front after market brakes increased the front track width slightly. Wheels are just regular 0mm/front offset GTAs, nothing crazy. Obviously it's been aligned as well and it's dead on. Probably going to have to take that brake setup off and go with the blazer setup when I'm ready for larger wheels.

Something doesn't seem right. That setup shouldn't rub IMO.

The Blazer set-up will increase the track width just like any other separate rotor/hub set-up vs the stock spindle that utilizes the 1pc hub/rotor.

I'm running the Blazer setup. No issues. Trying to see what's different between his setup and mine. Do you know the actual backspacing on the GTA front rims? I can't remember what it is off hand.

It worked for you but if he rubs now it's going to possibly be worse w/adding to the track width.

After Googling, looks like front IROC/GTA backspacing is 4.75" and rears are 5.25". I would run rears on the front and that should stop your issues.
