I do recall seeing a similar storm on one of the TV news channels not too long ago. It also looked like a snowstorm, but turned out to be a hailstorm as well. I'll be damned, it looks very much like snow.

Yeah, you rarely see an accumulation like that. I'm sure driving in it sucks as much as driving into a snowstorm.

I got some hail here at my house a few weeks back, but nothing like in that pic. It was plenty violent when it hit here, and this is all the accumulation I got:











I can’t imagine what it would’ve been like where that picture was taken.

We can get hail like that in Texas in the spring and fall, sometimes both. Drifts can be a a couple feet. Paintless dent pop up show up in ever strip mall. The local BMW dealer built a 3 story parking garage so the car lot has a roof.
