That was us in 2013. Our little piece of heaven, our own nearly private fishing hole, the town reservoir was full to the top, we weren't sure it would hold, it did. We were blocked by water on 3 sides. Our basement was ruined but we got off lucky. It can always be a worse situation.

Unfortunately, snow when it is nearly May is part of living on the prairie's. Still one of the best places to live in the world, great people and beautiful. Even my 3 mini long haired Dachshund's, which my wife just shaved of course were like WTF? The youngest one came in and rolled all over the couch🙂
