I am looking to add a Roll bar setup to my 84 T-type Regal with T-tops. More for safety then racing applications.

Primarily I just want a main hoop with the rear struts and a removable harness bar.

Does anyone make a good kit that can be welded or bolted in? I want to retain rear seat use, so I want the rear stuts to conform to the body line as best as possible, not the typical straight down angle.

If anyone has a similar setup pictures would be great.

I believe Comp Engineering makes what you want but not positive. I know Chris Alston Chassisworks and S&W Racecars do. The two I just listed make rear bars to go thru the package tray and not the seat. But just so you know it is dangerous to carry passengers in the back seat when the rear bars are there. If you were to get into an accident or broad sided the occupants in the back could hit their heads and it would be similar to swinging that bar and hitting someone in the head.
These 2 companies will ship their products. Hope this helps.

I do not intend to on a regular basis, but if I want to or need to want the ability. That is also why I want the strut bars to follow roof line and body line so tucked up as much as possible.

thanks for links I will check them out.

Passengers aren't the only ones at risk. The driver's body parts can also come into contact with the bars in a collision. I would think twice about a roll bar in a street car unless you really need one and plan on wearing a helmet to protect your mellon. Also if your in sur ance provider gets wind of your install they could deny coverage of your "race car". Just a thought to consider.
