RPO CODE screwup?

Was checking my RPO Code sticker again , before I posted this, but I have a B94 on my sticker.....that comes up to a FENDER EMBLEM, Z28....what were they smoking that day?

Not a screw up sir, the B94 RPO code can signal the z28 emblem or the "B94 : ORNAMENTATION, EXTR EMBLEM, BODY, VAR 1
" Not necessarily a z28 emblem, could also signal exterior ornamentation such as various emblems on the trunk, header panel, fron and rear bumper covers, etc.

RPO codes are never reliable so unless your building a car for the Barret Jackson auction why does it even matter...

It doesn't really matter, but since this is the 1st time I have actually wanted to check any codes, and I saw this code for a Z28 emblem, and nothing in my code listing said anything about the above response about ornamentation, I thought it was weird.

That's what happens when you check your codes at a Camaro website... :lol:

It's always best to have a few sources to double check when something doesn't make sense.

I pieced mine together with these sites, before finally just getting the correct info from GM.

Codes can vary from year to year as well, so keep an eye out. An info packet from GM specific to your year will solve it.
