Rpo codes

i need some help with my rpo codes. I'm trying to figure out if my car came with a posi rear end. Right now I know I have 3.42 gears and an 8.5" rear end. I'm pretty sure anyways. Below is my rpo sticker

I'm guessing this is on a Monte Carlo SS due to the L69 engine code, This should have a 7.625 rear axle and without a G80 Code it is a "open" non posi rear axle.

Yep, it should be a 7.625 rear. Montes never got the 8.5, only the GN/Turbo Regals and the 442 got em.

If it does have an 8.5, then good for you! However, it didn't come from the factory so you'll have to open it up to see if it's a posi, unless if both tires will spin in the same direction when you jack it up.

Lucky? What's that lol. I've went through this whole car. It's my first g body. First real build actually. The rear wont hold more than likely anyways so it'll get a 9" eventually. Thanks for all your guys help
