S-10 7/8" wheel cylinder swap

I have the standard sized shoes on it. I was going to put the longer shoes up front too but I heard of people locking the brakes up on the street and I didn't want that to happen. The clip isn't too bad, it's just annoying to install it. If I would have known about the bolt in deal I would have done that a while ago. I had a wheel cylinder that kept failing it ended up being the old backing plate twisting when the brakes were applied and tossing the piston out of the cylinder. New backing plates and wheel cylinders and it's all better.

I have the bigger wheel cylinders with long shoes and stock brakes up front no problems
I do run the cheap organic shoes though

No lock up on the street? How well do they hold?

Just did this swap couple weeks ago. It's a simple swap that works great! You can get lock up but you aft to be trying to hard. I just have cheapest brake shoes orileys had and love it. If your not going to swap to disc of a f-body, then I'd recommend these.
