sbc 350 in a 1979 grand prix

hey guys i was wondering if a 350 chevy will bolt right up to the pontiac frame pads or will i have to put chevy frame pads in as well

you will need Chevy frame pads. also the location for the Chevy frame pads are in a different spots

thanks allot for the reply i was looking at the frame today and a couple pictures the holes for the chevy frame pads are placed a little bit more forward compared to the pontiac ones right

You got it. The frame pads can be bought at any parts store. You would need the same as a monte carlo SS with a 305. I believe the chevy had the starter on the oppsite side of pontiac engine. You will have to move the battery and all the associated wiring as well
