Has anyone used the comp cam extreme 4x4 cam pn 12-243- 3. I bought a motor that had this cam in it. Its gonna be a moth before i have it running and im just courious how it will peform in a street car.

Probably not too bad with a little bit of a stall and some headers. You might wanna email Comp and get a no bullshit answer from them. The specs are decent though.

Yeah ive got the headers and intake good carb and a decent set of heads but i do need a converter. ive done some searching around and found alot on the comp 270h there pretty close in specs besides lift and most like them.

I just looked at your sig and your combo and thats kinda close to what im doing. My heads are not close to as good as yours. Mine is a 355 9.6-1 with ported L89 heads, torker intake with that cam.

Yea. I have very few miles on my combo. I actually put that in a truck and it was a pretty shitty idea. Total mismatch. That cam with your particular heads will probably be a great combo. I personally do not like the torker intake. I have read nothing good about them. I picked it up for 20 dollars so I ran it. Toward the end of my build I ran out of cash so it got cheap parts. I'd think a Performer RPM or Air Gap would be much better. I'll be removing the 270h cam I have this summer and going hydraulic roller in the 520-530 lift range without around 235'ish duration. Then I just gotta find a nice g body to set it down in. What do you have for rear gears? That cam is probably a good low-mid range cam being that it is a 4x4 cam.

saw a pic of your engine in another post, you have the original torker right, not the torker 2?
I believe the original torker is alot better than the 2nd one.

Yeah the torker is the original one. Same deal here got it for cheap. Ive got 373 gears with a 700r4 trans.
