hey everyone, i have a 1980 Diablo... same thing as an El-camino, with a procharged small block & I'm changing it to a Procharged 454 BB ..... what do i have to use for front springs to compensate for the weight difference???? i dont want to keep the stock ones in it becouse i want it to ride & handle nice & i dont want lowering springs becouse it sits perfect and won't help .. if anyone could help me out that would be great ,
thanks
www.jeffd.50megs.com/Moog_Spring_Page.htm I vote Moog 5660 or 5662. Beyond that is getting too stiff that it becomes harsh maybe even bouncy unless you have good shocks.
so moog 5660 or 5662? hey thanks For the help guys & closed chamber cast heads and it also has A/C ..... just want to know what to use to compensate for the weight diff !!
qa1 makes a really nice coilover kit that is a bolt in. they let you choose the spring by front end weight. then you get adjustable ride hight, and adjustable shocks. i put this kit on my 81 cutlass and couldnt be more happy.
