If $700 is too much for two pieces of metal to change the way your car handles, then this hobby definately is not for you.

very true lol. alot of us have more into our cars than they ever cost when they were brand new

I know I have more money into the engine and trans alone then the car was new lol.

i really wish someone could answer my question! $715 for just upper a arms. What makes it such a great upgrade? I'm not trying to start anything, not trying to step on toes. It seems to me like good springs and shocks would make a heck of a lot more difference than upper a arms. Somebody help me see the light!

The are adjustable, and I'm assuming the price, they are chromoly which is a pretty big upgrade vs stock. The ball joints being that price I'm sure aren't just moog replacements either. I'd also assume these have a huge advantage in setting caster vs stock control arms.

In short, these are some fairly serious control arms. They are worth the money but not necessarily right for every car. Some people don't need that kind of adjustability or strength so they don't need to be considering arms with those characteristics anyways.

Now, back on topic and less thread hijacking.

GuysMonte, let us know how you end up liking the arms when you get them in. I've always heard good things about SC&C stuff and would like to know how they work out for you.

I understand that they seem overpriced and me being the cheapskate that i am i still would pick them up, especially the pro-lites with the hex shaped aluminum adjustment bars.. the adjustment they offer is next to none when compared to factory a arms and tubular fixed ones. Now not every car is suitable for them but if you want a tight handling and control then they are for you! My friend actually had to go through a few alignment shops to get it right!! He mentioned everybody tried to align it to factory specs and it took a shop specializing in performance suspensions to get it right...

I will be sure to provide an update when I get these parts on.This is a big upgrade for me,I usually put my money into the engine, but this year I am putting some $$$ into suspension & chassis.I believe that Mark supplies new alignment specs, and we have an excellent front end shop nearby, the guys there are gearheads,so I know it will be aligned properly.

Might wanna do all that stuff yourself. Caster/Camber gauge, some chalk. Setting up the front end isn't tough.

Do you have aftermarket rear control arms? Those will also make a big difference. Good luck!!!
