Actually, It's gonna be my 17 year old son's car. I'll post some pics as soon as we get it home.
Now here's the story on this one....
82 Olds Cutlass
Buying from the original owner. Car has 72,000 miles on it. A "now" 80 year old woman bought this car new in 1982 from J Mac Olds here in Warner Robins, Ga. The car is all original and has never been butchered in any way. Has the original paint on it, original rally wheels, etc. V-6, runs great (so far) bench seat, all chrome trim is there and other than the trim being oxidized is in great shape.
Faded white with faded blue interior.
Now don't get me wrong, this car is far from being in showroom condition but the body is good with very minor surface rust and it's all there. It has been sitting outside in the same spot for about the last 3-4 years so it's definately gonna need some TLC before turning my 17 year old loose with it but this is what he wanted and he is very excited and cannot wait to get started on it.
Again, I will post some pics as soon as we get it home.
And I'm almost afraid to share what we paid for this one....afraid of one of you guys shooting me....LOL

Sounds like a solid (project to be) car! Will he be joining us here on GBF???

Cant wait to see the pics and its always good to hear about the next generation of gbody owners. Can't wait till my son is old enough. Good stuff though! Cant put a price on the good times yall will share building the car.

When I bought my 83 it was from an old lady. It was the v6 with very low miles but the oil pump was plugged and caused it so spin a bearing two weeks after I got it. I cant wait to see pictures of the car though.

dont feel to bad, i got my Cutty for $200...... walked outside and ask my neighbor if he was ready to get rid of the cutty, he said yes... the rest is history

That's great news Chris Van🙂 Can't wait to see the pics..We won't shoot ya, we love hearing about great scores!!!! You gonna make it a rod or keep her in tact for a while??

Gonna keep it a driver. After all, he's 17...LOL
Should have it home this weekend.
I got my 83 when I was 17 too. Still have it to this day and it has been through many stages in my life. But one thing about mine. I have put it through each and every one of those stages and there really isn't a nut or bolt on it that I haven't turned at some point in time.

I know most of you have seen it but here is mine in it's current stage.....LOL
