In thinkin about sea foaming my regal. It idles a little rough, and judging by the sludge I found in my heads, I wouldn't doubt it has a ton of carbon build up too. Anyone try this before? I've heard a lot if mixed reviews on the stuff.

That sounds like a really bad idea and won't make your car run any smoother -- IF your bearings even survive.joesregalproject said:I've also been told to run 3 qts kerosene: 2 qts oil, at idle, for about 5 minutes after the car gets hot, then change the oil, as a sludge removing method. I'm a little to scared to try that one out. I think I'll go with transmission fluid instead.
Not sure what your getting at here but I wouldnt consider Sea Foam snake oil. I have firsthand experience with it and it worked for me. I wouldnt expect it to fix a junk engine or make an old beater run like new but it did help. Just sayintc1959 said::lol:![]()

I have seen engines that have had everything from "Winns to Krex to Sea Foam , Run thru them, The truth is unless you completely dissemble a engine and physically clean every part. There is No miracle in a Can made by anyone that will fix a neglected sludged up engine. There is "nothing in a can" that can fix a worn out cylinder or fix a worn valve guide .-83MONTESS- said:Not sure what your getting at here but I wouldn't consider Sea Foam snake oil.
