Seat belt Won't Retract

My driver seat belt won't retract. I tried to retract it and now it's all the way out. Anyone have any tricks or am I going end up removing it....🙂

Check to see if the door jam lever for the auto retract when the door closes is not locking it in the extracted position.

I removed that lever to make sure it was not the problem

Can you get anything to see inside the bulk head to see if something got into it to jam it or if the retractor just failed from age? Best case I would say take it out to inspect it to see it might be a simple to just lube it up to get things going again.

the re tractor in the door jam. loosen the bolts and wiggle the re-tractor. see if it will let the seat belt retract

I removed that

fixed, the trick is to remove the door jamb lever and stick a long screw driver in the hole and play around till you hit the release lever or spring and it will retract like it should....now I can relax and enjoy my Strongbow Ginger Apple Cider...thanks guys for your help...🙂
