I am wanting to create a custom cowl hood, using my original hood 8)

I am wanting to know if there is a solevent or something that will release the "blobs" that hold the bracing to the underside of the hood :?: or possibly a torch
I will be re-installing the bracing, so I do not want to destroy it

:wax:

Some heat will work. When I used to skin hoods for a circle track car a sawzall worked good.

A hacksaw blade will do it with some effort. You could also use a wire like cutting out a windshield. Heat will be the fastest, but if you plan on using the hood skin it may distort if you get it too hot.

Let me know how it goes. I plan on doing the same thing on my Monte.
