I shouldn't because I don't own it anymore, but I'll share a some pics of my old Camino.
This was the car I really learned the ropes on... and had a LOT of fun in... :)
I could talk about it all day, so I'll keep it brief.
'84 El Camino Conquista, 305/th-350, blue vinyl bench interior, color was originally two-tone blue but was given an amature paint job in just the darker color a couple years before I bought it.
After 2 years and 40k miles it was showing it's age when I got rid of it...
I bought it the summer before my junior year of hs in july 2000, and sold it the day I graduated in june '02.

These pics are from october '00 in front of the service station I worked at thru h.s. and college.
I sure miss it! I wonder if it's still on the road...???

Fixing that dent and the rust in front of the rear tire were my first experiences with body work...

Then in oct. '04 I brought a p.o.s. '81 home that looked EXACTLY like this...
Drove it thru the winter and parted it out in april '05.

Some nice El Caminos guys, I’ll throw my 83 in the mix. It started out as a parts car for the El Camino I built the wife.

83Side.jpg

I decided to it would make a good home for the 500 CI Cadillac engine I’d been saving for a project. The project kind of ballooned, when I decided to change the front end and doors for a set from a 78 Monte Carlo.

In the process I built a 9” rear end for it, installed a TH400 and added a Monte Carlo SS interior and gauges. The majority of work was done in my garage. I pretty much documented the build in these threads.

It’s been my daily driver since I finished in January, I use it to pick up parts, haul things and generally use it like a truck when I need one. I even drove it from AZ to IL and back a few months ago. The 507 Cadillac makes it a ball to drive (this thing would easily outrun the 68 BB 4 spd El Camino I just sold).
