How do I know if the mounts are shot or not? To me they look like they are good, but then again I am no expert

if you have enough fab skills to patch the floor, you can recreate the body mounts aswell. they are pretty basic.

u need to get under the car with a good light and screwdriver. Start poking the mounts

Mounts may be easy to fab up for some, but when you have nothing goodl to weld them to your still out of luck.

The front firewall mounts are made up of about 4 or 5 peices of steel folded and spot welded together.
