what parts did you guys use for the A/C, since it's on the opposite side?

Line from a g-body with a 307 olds I think should work. Atleast thats what I was told, mine aren't on yet.

I am using the stock A/C lines from the 307 (not installed yet in my pic).

If your car originally had a Buick or Olds engine:

You just need the hoses for a Olds small block V8 OR a 1992 Chevy Caprice. This will retain the correct length hose and still have the HIGH side port on the line. I used the Caprice lines and they fit well. The Olds lines are good too since they have he built in "muffler".

DO NOT get the F body hose set for this set up. Since you can use off the shelf parts why bother modifying?

If your car had a Chevy engine:

You have to get a passenger side condenser. THEN you could use the F body lines but only if you use the F body lines which have the HIGH side built in. But you will have to do some bending.

I didn't have the benefit of this web site when I originally started figuring out my system.I used a serp drive from a 92 F-body,so i just used all the stuff i could from that setup. It works so I guess it's OK.
The shortened F-body hose didn't interfere with any thing so that's what I went with. The F-body liquid line had the high side port on it and I didn't have to bend anything. The low side port is on the accumulator. Mines hooked up and is working I don't see too many others on here that are, I am even running R-12.

I bought my engine out if a suburban and the serpentine set up looks to be identical to yours...the connectors on the condenser were at an angle on the GMC so those lines would not work with the g body condenser but as far as I know it is not expensive to have the lines modified
