Any recomendations for a shift kit? The 86 Ss has the 200 4r which is supposedly different from the regular TH 200 4r.
The B&M kit has 'Tow' and 'Street/Strip' options. I won't be racing my 305 and I wonder if tow mode is good enough to firm shifts.

I don't have a 200-4R but I would go with Transgo based on experience with the 4L70E and feedback from my builder.
 
Don't get a towing kit. It will make it drive like a truck.
 
Use the firmest settings on the Transgo, still mild and make sure the servo isn't set too tight.
