Shifter bushings

Jack...I've got a couple of extra shifters here...besides the Gbody ones I have. I can have a look and see what they have for floor grommets.

for the grommet for the cable I don't have one but all the cars with console shifters us the same grommet. I'd have one if we still raced the G body or F body but we build our chassis now....and that gromet is easier to find on the shelf since it fits sheet metal.

Thank you very much, Steve. I guess you still have my address and information. As for the grommet, you'd think they'd include it with a new cable. However, I think I might have found a GM part # for it. I've noticed other replacement cables that had the grommet, but I think it was for an F-body.

Just a quick question. Is the 3-spd automatic shifter similar in construction to the 4-spd auto shifter? I plan on using the 4-spd shifter using a 3-spd cable and trans bracket. I'm hoping to get by with that setup until I install the 200-4R.

I notice on my Hurst shifter (for a 200-4R) that it has an extra detent for 1st gear. According to what I've read and compared, the 2- shifters are almost identical except for that one difference.
