To be restrictive and give the 307 a slow as sh*t reputation🙂. The tubular manifold's are restrictive, so much so that the HO motor got cast iron manifold's. The FE3X prototype gained 30 hp with shorty headers, similar to the Thornton headers, a real y pipe, Corvette cat and a functional ram hood like the old W25 hood. The crossover is simple and probably cheap to make, not good for flow, get true dual exhaust as well.
