Should I install a shift kit?

I'm so used to having a "shift kit" that when I drive a stock vehicle I really miss those firm shifts. I used the Trans Go kit in the Monte Carlo and I liked it. I can't remember which springs I used in the governor.

I have an extra ATSG manual on CD ROM that covers the TH350 & TH350C . I'll send it to you if you want. I know you're interested in doing a rebuild in the future. It's a good resource and I'll show you the other book I used to do my rebuild.

This book is really good for rebuilds and he also covers shift kits. I bought the digital copy on Google Play Books.

In my opinion, I say go for the shift kit. I'd hate driving without one. I even had the transmission guy firm up the shifts in my truck. Lol

I was planning on buying the books before I attempt, but if you wanna send your extras my way, be my guest lol.
I have installed the shift kit, went pretty smoothly. Trans is yet to be installed. I still hoping to get it in by tomorrow night. Gotta clear out space in the garage so I can pull my car all the way in. Damn sand blaster and 8.5 are in my way.
