I have many in my fleet ...but my pride and joy is my Primal Raminator! Run it every chance I get. Also just got picked for this months Reader's Ride of the Month for RC Car Action. It's in the June issue that just came out.

Pic of it next to one of my Lunchboxes...to give size perspective...

Here is another build I am working on, converting an SMT10 into a scale Son Uva Digger that will still function as a full RC and be as scale as possible. Tons of hours into this build, and still tons more work ahead. Here it is on its transport wheels.

Pick of it with its full size wheels. Planetary caps were still drying, so were not on yet.

Needless to say...I have a bad RC monster truck addiction...lol!

I have a whole room in my house for RC cars & trucks. Nitro only!!! Screw the electric stuff (yes there are 2 mini lst2's that are electric, but the other 20+ cars I have are nitro)

That's what's up my friend! I used to have nitro rigs and a nitro heli...but got out of nitro due to not having any local or near hobby shops anymore. They all closed up, so now next nearest is 200 miles away each way. Shipping and hazmat was getting ridiculous for nitro. Bums me out as my Jato and Revo 3.3 were a blast. That's why I love the Raminator...49cc gas engine. Nothing like the sound, smell and power. My other 10 trucks are all "e-word" electric lol...but to me...a blast nonetheless.

I live in a small town without any hobby shops. I order fuel 4 gallons at a time online. And yes - I know it's getting tougher and tougher to find

Good stuff... I never did care for the nitro stuff, noisey, tempermental and smelly buggers they are, i started off with electric back in the early 90s when i was in the AF stationed in KOREA, the base i was at had a small hobby shop there.

BLACK FOOT... back then, i decided to give the body and chassis the standard military camo theme.

49cc... Is that a typo? The Moped I used to have when I was 14 was 49cc and hauled my *ss up to 45m/h. The engine and clutch assembly was bigger than a chainsaw so I couldn't picture it fitting in an R/C car.

No typo..its a 49cc pocket bike engine. 2 stroke I run on 94 octane non-ethenol VP small engine fuel mixed with Dominator 2 stroke oil. Truck as it sits weighs in over 90 pounds. It doesn't haul butt though. Way the transmission is set up and truck is geared, does about 20mph as it set up. I drive it like a true scale monster truck. There are guys that run 80cc engines that are so powerful, they snap parts in the drive train lol. Here are a couple pics with its body off. Can see the engine and pipe.

I had a couple pocket bikes as well when I was a kid, they were pretty fun! Cool to see an engine that size in an R/C car. I guess I shouldn't be surprised though, I work with remote controlled locomotives so it doesn't get much bigger than that! 😅
