Sick 1987 GN build

Flat transmission and driveshaft tunnels with sharp bends?? That’s cheating. I’ll take my (more difficult to build, but looks closer to original) version any day.

The mini tub job and the full width wheelwells inside the flares are t!ts tho.

Agreed! Its weird they spent so much time and effort on the heater box delete panel and hardly any on tunnel.
The flares are my favorite part though.

Your tunnel looks much better.

Floor & trans tunnel are usually covered right? Once the insulation/sound dampening, carpet, console, & seats are in, I don't think the shape of the tunnel is noticed.
The front & rear tubs are clean....

Dang. The paint job hasn't even been cut and buffed yet and it already looks way better than stock.

Do agree with the fact they seem to cut corners where they probably shouldn't. Have to admit that's the strangest HVAC delete panel I've seen. Those custom Turbo "8" emblems look pretty neat, too.

I’m all for modifying compared to stock . But to do everything they did , they might as well started with a plain Regal . It’s no longer a GN

Well, If that's what the customer already owned & what he wanted..... The best start of a high-end project is the best core possible. It's a hot-rod. Custom. Not stock.

It doesn't need to be another GN. It only needs to be what the customer wants. This one will be a little hotter on the wick.
Meh, i’m not impressed with that level of hackery. The car would’ve been better stock.
As noted, why did they spend so much time showing how they removed the HVAC system? Dealbreaker for me. It’s somebody else’s money so it’s fine.
I've seen your stuff. (watched the videos of your improvements). Surprised to read your statement calling Roadster Shops work 'hackery'. Where would you rate your efforts?

They removed the stock HVAC so they could fit other stuff & use an aftermarket (updated) HVAC set-up.
