Planning on using sound deadner in the smugglers box. And just wondering how much it would knock down the sound. It’s not the thickest type. I’m looking at 2.5” exhaust using this style of muffler which allows it to come out in front of the tires easily. I have to look at the mounting first and foremost. There is only 3 to 4 companies with this style.

What I do have. Makes for stopping the vibration from speakers as I wanted to put a sub in the box as well. Just wasn’t sure how much it would deaden the exhaust noise from the outside in.

Ok, I follow the design, I would think should be fairly quiet. What would be interesting..., if you use the style with the diverter. Could give another option to have those two hooked to electric cut-outs and short turn downs in front of axle.

I plan on putting the bell and cup setup on the pipe from the header to the X-pipe for easier disassembly or clutch replacement. I’m running 3/4 shorty headers so I have a length of front pipe.

At the header is these

And at the X-pipe will be these
