Do i have to mod anything or is it ready to go?

Well, it can be a bolt in.

Pypes, Summit, Jegs, Blowfaster, dynomax, they have either direct bolt ins or universal kits if you have headers. And they aren't REALLY bolt ins because they almost never fit right, they fit, but not right.

You usually have some trimming to do for the individual pipe sections before clamping and/or welding.

Also, you would need a double hump cross-member which a few sponsors sell here, or you could make your own (I do this using a-body x-members).

You need to add the holes and what not in the frame for the hangers.

I have a lift and can weld and have done dozens of dual exhaust conversions on everything from front drive buckets to trucks. So, bolt on to me may mean a little something different. A bunch of members here have done it though so hopefully some would chime in.

A popular system for the g-body crowd is the Pypes.

You could get this and cut your Y pipe to fit. http://pypesexhaust.com/i-12200971-...s-crossmember-back-w-x-pipe-system-sgg10.html
And maybe these if your y pipe is jacked up. http://pypesexhaust.com/i-12200756-78-88-g-body-chevy-small-block-2-5-downpipes-2-bolt-dgu10s.html

Here is a blowfaster http://www.summitracing.com/parts/flo-817457/overview/make/oldsmobile Header back though, so if you don't have headers, you still need to get the y-pipe modified or by the above head pipes.

I have also used this, with whatever muffler, and a modified y-pipe and headers. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/sum-680146-nm/overview/year/1986/make/pontiac/model/grand-prix

Here is a pypes system, a "bolt in" that has over 10 cuts to get it nice and snug.
