Last fall I was offered A large sum for the 86 442 .I bought it new that has less than 20000 miles and been garage kept stored always .I basically laughed at the guy .

Due to having to drive 175 mile plus round trip to work shortly . In the winter I might add . I need a newer and better MPG ride .

I'm to the point of needing to replace My work truck (trans needs rebuilt And has 200000 Miles) . And my beater plow truck cam went . Both worth $3500 if lucky together . Fixes r not to bad cost wise but the MPG is going to Kill me I have to have a truck and keeping make sense but not to drive far in . A newer truck would be nice but $10000 plus for solid low miles plow equipped one and $200 a week for gas

Other option is get the wife a slightly newer 4x4 or awd ride . As she drives little and run the 99 Malibu she drives now. Still almost $10000 for a clean low mile unit . Id at least get 24 MPG with the Malibu but no help in the snow and ice area . so trip would be way longer in time.

Basically I'm to the point that with house payment and payouts for hospital bills and kids teeth Its so tight I cant get another payment . And don't want to clean out the small savings I have left . So that leaves the 442 .

I good till end November but if nothing comes up HIs offer still stands .

Good news just after posting someone with in 5 miles of me posted a wrecked 04 subaru outback for $2000 . And my Cousin has parts for it .

About $2500 total and its awd come on snow .

I guess I should have waited.

That's the spirit.

Good to hear. Now all you need to do is find a closer job! 175 miles? Yikes. I would go insane if I had to drive that far. I like my 6.5 mile round trip hike!
