I had one today. An 09 GMC Serria 1500, rear shoes. So I rack it up and pull the adjustment cover and start adjusting away. Well not really. . . The adjustment screw was seized . . . On both sides. I figure no biggie I'll use the back off screws and just brake the hardware, NOPE! The bracket for the shoes on the backing plate wont allow the shoes to pop off. So my last resort was to cut the drums in half. I've had to cut a couple of rotors off in my time, but never a drum. I'll post photos tomorrow. I guess there is a first time for everything. It made for a long afternoon with no torch just a cut off wheel and an air hammer.

Not quite on the same level as the Sten mod. This is a '15 Z06 in for a clear paint mask on the front and sides, had seven miles on it.

Have this "84 MCSS in for a detail this week. The guy's name is Mike, you might see his name on this page somewhere. I don't think he's selling any parts off this one though, it only has 14k miles

.

Had a kid that worked for us a few years back had sold a dirt bike and used a piece of wood for a timing chain guide! The guy that bought it called back and was PISSED. Rightfully so, but the kid told him, "What? At least it was oak!" So that's the regular joke around the shop when we see a hack job like this. So I have to ask, is it at least oak?

Nope! I mean it's not even pressure treated!
