OLDS Sometimes when the wife goes shopping

Great score!!! And your wife is awesome to be so thoughtful and considerate!!....sounds like when she comes home now from the store, instead of the uh huh's and such, you will be ripping the bags out of her hands from now on to look inside LOL

thats sweet! I put together probably 100+ 1/24 scale models when I was a kid...(probably messed my brains up with all the fumes! lol) I used to get stupid with them....using redsewing thread for spark plug wires/battery cables/painting everything/drilling out exhaust tips so they looked real etc... your post brings back some long forgotten memories!
I used to go as far as cutting open the doors, hoods and trunks, building hinges so that everything could open. Then use velour fibers to give interiors the appearance of real fabric. Painted them the craziest colors. The craziest thing I did was I messed up a John Force funny car, and out of frustration I tried to light it on fire.. it didn't work but what it did do was char and melt the plastic and carbon up the side.. once I realized I could control it, I made it look like it hit a wall and was on fire at 200mph.. it became a Bob Ross moment, a happy accident. Haha.

For anyone who doesn't have a local hobby lobby, or, their's is out of stock on these, we picked up two at our local store.

One is MINE 😊

The second I'd be willing to turn loose to another member who wants to build it for the $32.39 it cost with sales tax, plus whatever shipping and such runs to your location. But, if nobody else needs/can't get it, I'll probably open it and play around with it.

I remember when Angelo Valenti got Revell to make that kit based on his very own FE3-X. That's his car pictured on the box. Nice score! Your wife is awesome! My wife would do the same for me if she were in that situation.
