Try running some premium fuel with some booster additive and see if it stops. Thats what it sounds like to me. Be ause the heads have been milled from 64 cc to probablly 55cc. That bumps the compression ratio up and will then need higher ictane.

ive been running premium in it since its been rebuilt twice now lol im thinking it has to be converter because it only does it when in gear and goes away after high rpms and i was reading another site on transmission noises and thats what i came up with for now so im gonna try another converter

i took it to a transmission shop he thinks it is the flex plate hes gonna look into it next friday hopefully that is it

well it wasnt in trans or the flexplate so i guess i get to take out motor for the fifth time 🙁

That really sucks. Hope your back up and running soon.

Make sure the flywheel does not have a weight on it. My buddy installed a 400 sb flywheel on a 350 and it didn't last long.

If it has a holley, did you take the entire choke off of it? If so, there is an unplugged vacuum port you can feel at idle. One of those short holley screws will self thread into it. This causes a lean condition, and knock, off of idle.
