Change the brake fluid and coolant and rear differential fluids and grease the U-joints. These always get forgotten, and good parts get ruined over corrosion and junk building up in there.

Of all the 5 Monte's I've checked, the spare tire had never been used on any!

I have a car trailer and pickup at home, two more monte's for parts and such. All I carry is my wallet and my cell phone. A spare tire will not do you much good if you have over sized tires or positraction. All you really need is a smart phone!

Just Google it! 5 on 5.750 bolt cicle. Less than 5 inch back spacing.

I was saying if you have a smart phone you can call for backup or research the problem any were any time. Just trying to be funny I guess, sorry. If you need something some one has it, you don't need a mountain of parts. Just costs a little more. Leave the hording to the horders.

Wondering about the 15" aluminum SS rims..are they approching unobtainium status or is it worthwhile to have a second set (justincase)/

Are you referring to the n90 aluminum rim? Or the steel rims? Around here you can buy sets of 15 inch n90 rims for 200 bucks. You can buy new ones in 17 inch and maybe 15 inch.

Good point on the fire extinguishers. I have 1 mounted to the dash under the glovebox and a second wedged between the console and passenger seat on the floor.
