Well,got it running again. Put in some new NGK plugs,and it started right up. Ran it and drove it around for a bit. Started again next day no problem. who can figure that out. At least now I could drive it into its winter storage portable garage and not have to push it across the yard.
Hopefully have some more time in the spring to do something with it. i don't think the motor is all that great, have to look into a replacement.

this is off the wall but it sounds like one of those problems... Have you checked the connection between the wire and the plug. Possibly the wire is loose on the plug. Do NGK possibly have larger terminal ends.

Cheap plug wires will sometimes ruin plugs.

stock coil and wires then try again.
Aftermarket coils more times than not are rubbish.
