I sure hope 99 Z-28 seats are an easy fit in a G. I'm picking up a set tomorrow. They're tan leather, all electric and only have 5,000 miles of use. Paying more than I would have liked but after searching for months they're the nicest I've seen for the $$$$

You might be surprised to find that the seat track bolt holes are in about the same locations.

That would be a first on this project,NOTHING but the new battery has JUST BOLTED RIGHT IN. Thanx for the words of encouragement. I had to get seats now because I've finished installing my Lokar shifter and made my console out of fiberglass .Gotta make sure the seats clear the console

My new seats it turns out are from a 97 Z-28 that was totaled in 97 with only 4,500 miles on it. The guys had them in his house ever since. Now the bad part,NOTHING lined up. Since my old 50/50 bench wasn't the original seat,I don't even know if the tracks are Gbody. Then only the drivers seat is power,so the Camaro seat tracks are as different as night and day. It took me all day to get the drivers seat installed today. Now the passenger side has nothing in common with the drivers side . So it's start over again and get the second one to line up the same as the 1st.

Good luck, Doug.
Those should be nice looking seats in your ride, and worth the extra effort to get them installed. . Post some pics when you get them mounted.

After hours of searching and phone calls I've found a passenger side powder seat track everything included for $75.00 from Rigsbys A/S in Florida. I talked to a few Camaro experts who told me in that generation of Camaro/Firebird,dual power seats wasn't a very common option.

I have 1999 Firebird seats in my El Camino. If you have the manual version of those seats the G-Body bucket seat tracks are a direct bolt on. The power seat tracks are definitely worth the retrofit if you have them though.

The tracks in my Elco definitely aren't original bucket seat tracks. There's a half inch difference front holes to back holes. And a one inch difference side to side between the seat and the tracks.
