So I am curious on how this works since you are sponsored does that mean the rims and tires with an approx. value of $1150 are paid for by a sponser with no out of pocket cost to you?

Sounds like a scam. I would proceed.with caution.....its sounds kind of like those "fwd" emails. " fwd this email in the next 30 seconds to 20 people and a super model will.go out with you"

5000 in parts free you say? My zz4 fastburn crate engine will be getting shipped to me this week I guess .

I'm going to go with the old saying "If it sounds to good to be true, it probably is".
Nothing but complaints about them if you do a search, a B- rating with the BBB with 23 complaints but they do have some employees stating it is a legit company.
And looking at their vendors there are very few that I have used and most I have never heard of, it looks more like tuner stuff to me and from what I read you are suppose to go to car shows and promote products before you receive them.
To me any place that is going to offer me free stuff but wants credit card info is some sort of scam.
My thoughts exactly

What do they expect from you? Something doesn't smell right here...especially since they asked for a credit card number. :bs: RUN AWAY!!!

Its a one time fee for an entire year membership of $80 not $140... no there hasnt been any foward this email... ive been talking to real people of the company all day. How is if your car is approved for a sponsorship then you must pay a membership fee that the fee for Carsponsors.com finding you a sponsor. You are required to post online reveiws of products every part or product you receive from them, otherwise you will not recieve any more products. And the Wheels and tires, yes they pay for them , but i have to advertise the hell out of merchandise and were i got the funds... it a way of advertisment for the complanies and they pay for it.

If it is a scam, im not out of anything and not held to anything because i went a got one of those walmart pre-paid mastercards so im not attached to anything... and it was money out of a grant i got from collage... no money lost on my end. :|

Only 30 cars get the sponsorship.

I wish you the best of luck and hope it works out for you; there are several things I don't agree with in the statement above, but I'll just keep that to myself. If you do start basically "advertising" for them, be aware that most car forums will expect you to pay a fee to use their site for purposes of advertising a company or product.

Best advice I can give you, read the fine print.

Everyones intitled to their own opinion. The way i see it is that it could be a great opportunity if its the real deal. Wont know if i dont give it a try. Im not out of anything if it is a scam... lets hope its not. The Advertising is in my video post and at shows..... Im not advertising anything on here i was just explaining what it was.... i Dont have any of my merchandise in hand, so im not advertising.

Yeah, you're alright 'till the Feds show up at your door looking for you because you cashed a bad check. Nothing's for free, and anyone who isn't stupid knows that.
