😕😕😕

Is there air bags on that truck?

Yes sir.

Modified front x-member, drop spindles, bags, fabbed upper shock brackets, aftermarket tubs & hood struts. Modified center carrier bearing support. Modified Ridetech 4-bar rear w/bags, step-notches, fabbed Panhard bar/mounts & shock mounts. Flat bed floor + tubs raised ~6".

Is it running yet?
The 454 got fired last weekend but not broken in because it doesn't have coolant in it yet tonight I'm doing the break in and I'm taking the Subaru to get there because there's not many trips left in the small block. It sounds like 5 and 7 are trying to exit threw a window that's not there. I absolutely need to have it in and done before Lauren performs at 5:00 Saturday so I really hope all goes well tonight. She has 2 competitions. Saturday one at brick at 5 then on a bus and off to Woodbridge NJ for the second. I figured it's best I just try to make the home one but I need to be there at like 4:30ish maybe if it's up and running good I'll chance it to Woodbridge. Maybe I'll stay up all night Friday night putting it in by myself idk??

Well I went out there and Eric was a no show I found out later he was on the side of the road with his son that broke down. So I rearranged the shop and got the space I need ready for the swap. I couldn't do the break in because I didn't have a helicoil. But I did put some water in it. I also tried the belt I picked up last night after work. I wasn't sure if it would be the right size because I'm eliminating the pollution pump but I got it right first time. Of course I can't put it on because of another dilemma I don't think I mentioned to you guys. Apparently a mark 5 balancer is different than a mark 4 balancer it's thicker and the serpentine alternator belt doesn't line up it's off one groove. I ordered the correct one the other day and it should be here tomorrow, it better be I paid extra for faster shipping. The brackets are on the pulleys are on and it's waiting for break in

I was going to do more cleaning and painting on brackets but with the truck knocking and it being my daily driver there's no time for pritty I need to put it in and send it.

This why you need to always have one of your multiple old junk vehicles running and driveable. I am getting my 88 Cutlass to be a nice runner with the mild Olds 350, shorty headers, 2.5" X pipe exhaust 2300 stall 2004R and 3.42 gears this Winter while I get the 403 block machined and 424 stroker put together for my 70S. I was going to put in the 260 to kind of use it, screw that! I also have a built 2004R and a 3.90 posi planned but a higher stall, TH350 and the 2.78 open will stay for a while, should still go sideways down the street. I understand the lack of funds, why do you think it has taken me so long to get to this point😕. God's speed in getting this done.

She made the trip out and kept all her rods on the inside. I finished up the cooling system on the run stand so I can finally do the break in tomorrow morning. My buddy pat lives just next door well down the road. So he came over and helped me pull the hood off so in the morning I can just nose it in and start ripping! My goal is to get the 350 out and the 454 in before Lauren's competition tomorrow then button it up, do the exhaust and some tuning Sunday before a shake down run. I'm not worrying about transportation because I borrowed Eric's 496 truck. It's been so long I forgot what it's like to have things like OD radio, speedometer power lumbar dash lights ECT ECT lol
