Boy I'm slacking on the pictures lol I completely forget about the pictures last weekend. Anyway today was good for progress. I installed a new steering stabliser drilled the frame and mounted the transmission cross member sounds strange I know but when you use a 77 frame with an 87 205 th400 and cross member there's no holes to mount it but there is now. I also put the fuel tank wiring back in and I cut up a perfect 72 Cutlass a/c harness to replace what was missing from my engine bay. Installing the O-RING type thermostat housing fixed the leak so I topped off the antifreeze I also tightened the drivers motor mount. Just a bunch of finishing up loose ends I did get one picture but it's not great

I found some west coast mirrors on eBay cheep so I'll build them tonight lol more holes in the doors good thing I'm not using them. Tomorrow I'm installing 1.5 steel blocks in the rear suspension and changing the mirrors again I'm hoping to get in a test drive soon all this work and I've only driven it on and off a trailer and in and out of the yard.

Not really any progress today I got annoyed when I went out and it wouldn't start after the batteries charged all day yesterday. I took care of the problem but but I had to make a sacrifice to do it being short on funds. I disconnected the batteries and tested them to find one junk and the other, well a maybe. I couldn't afford to go get 2 new ones with all the parts I've been buying lately so I took the brand new 800 CCA out of my 78 (the September g-body of the month) and bought another one just like it. Not to worry the one from the truck that was questionable took a charge and went in the Cutlass I guess the beat one was pulling it down. I also ordered the new speedometer cables from rockauto I just hope they fit there's no application for an 80 with Cruse control and a 205 transfer case so I think the lower cable may be to short. If the upper fits I'll be able to put the dash back together maybe I'll even put in a radio.

Not much progress guys it's been a rough couple weeks had some sad news and some just plane weird! I think it started when a friend of mine died on my cousin's living room floor. Then some things with my oldest daughter Lexi. Last weekend is when it got weird Lauren was doing a school thing (honer a veterinarian) so I went on line to get her some information on his time in WWII no big deal I searched Battleson Robert L the way it would be on a dog tag.well I found his information as I have in the past pow purple heart Nazi war camp all on file but this time was different I stumbled on him in an online family tree NOT MINE and apparently I have another brother that probably knows nothing of my existence the clincher is HE'S IN DIRTY JERSEY Still don't know what to do with that information! And Saturday I did a side job rebuilding the cab floor in the impound wrecker at work.bright side to that I was able to order some parts I got some slip on rockers for my daily driver because I need to get it ready to sell I also got plow wings for the square body crew. I've also been digging threw auto av equipment I have because I'm not plowing in this thing with no tunes boy do I have some crap to throw at it I just need to figure out how to hook it all up hmmm who dose this stereo stuff ????? Anyway I've got 5 or 6 different head units to choose from and an Alpine DVD player with 10" monitor for the kids in back just need speakers and boxes and I'm set. Well and install it all
