I would pull #6 plug and blow it out the spark plug hole (with an air gun or idling with the plug out) if you think it will fit. If not, yank the head off since it wouldn't hurt to check if the combustion chamber took a beating. It's been a busy and trying day. I started by pulling bolth valve covers and doing a visual inspection. All I found is wow that motor is clean! So I put my anti piss clips on the rockers and fired it. Seen nothing wrong do I tried to isolate the noise by removing one plug wire at a time to see if I could find the cylinder. No change all I found was that it fires on all eight cylinders and an HEI is no joke. So then Dave the landlord walked in and he said he had a scope for a cellphone camera that won't work on his phone and he got it and gave it to me. In the meanwhile I remove the inspection cover just to make sure it wasn't a flywheel bolt or a convertible and it's not. So then I downloaded an app pulled the plugs and checked out all the holes all seams good except #6 so I took some still shots what do you guys think? Lauren says she sees a heart. I see an evil demon living in #6View attachment 127748

Whatever it is it's got to be the noise. So do I let it run and see if it spits it out at idle or do I rip the head off?
Yeah I gotta know how I'm going to pan outYou interviewed yourself?
What did I tell you about that?
